What is the difference between breakdown recovery and recovery costs?
If you purchase our Breakdown Recovery as an optional extra, the service includes 24 hour assistance, 7 days a week within a 20-mile radius of your home, UK holiday home, or vehicle. If our recovery team is unable to fix the issue at the scene, you and your vehicle will be taken to your home or a nearby repair shop.
Otherwise you are only able to claim for Recovery Costs with our standard policy as part of an insured event, such as being involved in an accident. This means we will cover the costs of a taxi to get you and your scooter registered home or repair shop.
