Wear and Tear - Exclusion
Wear and tear is a term used to describe the gradual damage that occurs to an object as a result of normal use over time. This type of damage is typically the result of repeated physical stress, exposure to environmental factors, or a combination of both.
- A wheel may experience wear and tear due to the friction they encounter on the road surface.
- A scooter seat may become scratched or faded over time due to exposure to sunlight or repeated use.
- A electronic devices may experience wear and tear due to the constant use of their components, such as buttons, switches, and screens.
Wear and tear is a natural process that affects all objects, and it can eventually lead to the need for repairs or replacement of the object. However, the rate at which wear and tear occurs can be influenced by factors such as the quality of the materials used, the frequency and intensity of use, and the level of care and maintenance provided.
Items damaged due to wear and tear may be covered under warranty.
Loss of Keys
Loss of house keys and mobility scooter keys don’t need any documentation as proof because you are claiming for the keys of your address on the policy. This is the same for the mobility scooter keys, they will be for the scooter that’s registered to the policy
