How to make a claim on your mobility scooter policy?

You must notify SAGIC as soon as possible after any incident likely to result in a claim under this insurance.

In the event of a claim you must provide the additional information:

  1. Scooter Model
  2. Year of Manufacturer
  3. Proof of Purchase (see below)

Proof of Purchase

We can accept the original manual that came with the scooter, a photo of the scooter or an invoice/receipt from the person or store you purchased it from; any documentation must state the make and model.

Loss of house keys and mobility scooter keys don’t need any documentation as proof because you are claiming for the keys of your address on the policy. This is the same for the mobility scooter keys, they will be for the scooter that’s registered to the policy
