Am I covered if my mobility scooter is damaged on a aircraft?
Yes, we will pay a maximum amount not exceeding the market value in respect of damage to the insured item whilst in the possession or control of airport authorities, baggage handlers or whilst on an aircraft . Cover is limited to the difference between the amount received from the baggage handler and the cost of repair or replacement.
Damage must be reported to airport authorities and/or baggage handlers at time of the event.
