How do I work out the value of my items in storage?

As the customer, it is your responsibility to calculate the sum of the goods you have in storage. You can do this by adding up the amount you paid for all of the goods combined or the value of items stored can be determined independently by a professional valuer.

Please Note: the maximum value of stored items and maximum single item value depends on your level of cover and type of facility, please see below.

Internal Room or External Room/Lock up

Domestic and Personal Possessions - £50,000
Student Possessions - £50,000
Business and Commercial Storage - £30,000

Container (Internal and External)

Domestic and Personal Possessions - £20,000
Student Possessions - £20,000
Business and Commercial Storage - £20,000

Maximum Single Item value

Bronze – Max Single Item: £2,500
Silver – Max Single Item: £5,000
Gold – Max Single Item: £7,500
