How to make a claim on your home appliance policy?

Our policies carry a 14-day moratorium that means you cannot claim within the first 14 days of the start date of your policy. When you register an appliance to your policy after the start date, then a 60 day moratorium will apply

Please note that pre-existing faults are not covered by your policy

Making a claim is fast and easy. Before any work is undertaken, you must telephone the claims handler on 0344 736 1124, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays, with details of your breakdown.

Please ensure you have your proof of purchase for the item concerned as this is required to verify ownership of the item being claimed.

If your claim goes over the individual claim limit on your policy, you have the option to pay the additional charge; if you agree you would be sent an invoice.

If you do not want to pay the additional charge, you will receive a cheque up to the individual claim limit or the amount paid for your appliance, whichever is the lesser amount.

Our research shows that the average claim is £175 (including labour). This means on average parts cost £115 per claim however this depends on what part you require as prices vary, depending on what you are claiming for will depend if your claim is above or below average.
