Do I need proof of purchase for my appliances?

We need to be able to verify that you do, in fact, own the item you are claiming for and the best proof of ownership is the original receipt.  In some cases, in the absence of the original receipt we may accept proof of purchase, such as a credit card or bank statement.

If you are using a bank statement as proof of purchase, this must show the appliance that was brought and not just the shop it was purchased in.

Please remember that cover applies only to the appliances specified in the schedule where you are the first owner, i.e., you purchased it brand new.
